In life we rarely act out of self motivation without regard to external influence. We’re always following somone or something. Even those committed to being “independant minded” with a “creative lifestyle” are following something or somone that has influence over them. Even those rebeling are affected by what they rebel against. In the end we are led. The bible talks about slavery to sin, but it also tells us we should be slaves to righteousness. The difference being we were chained to sin but when Jesus set us free from those chains, we choose to follow him and his way and became slaves by choice to his righteousness.
